Jarate makes weapons do higher damage. Skullcutter does more damage than the Eyelander and Bottle.
And the Shiv is meant for Spies mainly. Spies that like to cloak and run.
......And something to do with status effects........It makes sense in my head. .3.;
If you want crazy look at the Southern Hospitality. Scrap Metal+Ambassador. Maybe because both don't do random crits?
